MULTIPLE LOGO GENERATOR MGL2100

In order to insert Graphics, logos and advertisements in different cable TV signals, local channels or live transmissions it is necessary to count on an economical, expandible, versatile, simple system, that is quick and easy to operate. In this sense, in Videoswitch we have developed a solution that meets the needs of every customer. 

The MGL2100 comes with software for PC which has eight different functions:

› Character generator function:
- It can overprint texts for advertisement, announcements, new, information, etc.
- Texts can have effects such as crawling, scrolling and displacing like headlines.
- Texts can be written in any type or size. It supports True Type Fonts.
- Texts can be written at the moment or can be read from files, which allows to save an infinity of pre-assembled texts in the PC.

› Counter function:
- It allows overprinting all types of chronometers and counters.
- Ascending and descending chronometers can be inserted with pre-fixed time values.
- It allows the adding of a football (soccer) counter, which can be designed as required.
- The football (soccer) counter let you show in the screen First/Second half, Supplementary time, team names and colours, score, elapsed time in minutes and seconds, background picture and penalty results.

› User information function:
- It can overprint time, date, temperature, wind chill factor, humidity percentage and all kind of weather information.
- These indicators can have any type and size of font. It supports True Type Fonts.
- Time and date are automatically updated from the PC and can have any desired format.
- The meteorological data can be loaded manually, can be updated through a file or read from a Weather Station.

› Logo Generator Function:
- It can overprint fixed or animated logos in your signals to identify them or to avoid piracy.
- The logo can be as complex as it can be designed on the PC (You can work with any software and any file format).
- The logo could be a still image, a Flash animation or an MPEG2, AVI or WMV video.
- You can place in the same screen as many logos as you wish.

› Picture in Picture function:
- It allows overprinting videos in PIP mode over any video signal. - It is capable of inserting as many videos as you wish in MPEG2, AVI o WMV format. You can place them everywhere on the screen with variable zoom and transparency.
- This function is very useful for inserting OFF mode commercials during any TV program on any channel.
- It also allows the mixing of the original audio signal with the one from the videos that are being inserted.

› Web function:
- It allows the insertion of web pages with the software’s Web Browser capability.
- It is capable of executing any type of file that opens with the Internet Explorer
- It has a special function for executing Macromedia Flash files.

› Advertisment insertor function:
- It can insert advertisements in different cable signals or in your local channel.
- It can overprint commercials in MPEG2, AVI, WMV, GIF, PPS, PPT, or SWF formats in PIP or full screen modes.
- It can insert under-screen advertisements in Flash, PowerPoint or Character Generator format.
- Advertisements could be prepared in advance and sent to the air when they are needed.

› Full Time Function:
- It allows the generation of programming from the MGL2100 to cover your local channel's dark time.
- It can generate screens in Power Point format or fixed images.
- It can insert programs or publicity in MPEG2, AVI, or WMV formats in full screen.

› Common features for all modes:
- It has unlimited animation.
- The Croma Key cut can be made by Red, Green, Blue or Black.
- Every animation, logo or any other object could be placed everywhere on the screen with any wanted size.
- All the necessary screens can be prepared and then sent to the air when they are needed.
- You can store the complete design of a screen in a file to use it afterwards.
- The capability of storing logos, animations and screens is only limited by the size of the Hard Disk Drive of the PC.
- You can insert in the same screen as many texts, images or animations as you want.
- You can add or remove texts, images or animations from a screen that is already on the air.
- It allows for the design or preparation of a screen while another is on the air.
- It has a 256 level variable transparency.
- It allows the insertion of graphics with Fade In and the removal with Fade Out.
- It allows the insertion of graphics with audio and the mixing of the original audio from the signal with the one in the graphic.
- The transfer of the graphics from the PC to the MGL2100 is instantaneous.
- It does not degrade the incoming signal when inserting the logo(Downstream Keyer).
- It has an external Key exit to connect a mixer.
- The MGL2100 can be chained together so that one PC could load the logos for all of them.
- The MGL2100 can be used together with an MXO686 or MXG16 matrix to insert Graphics in different channels manually or automaticaly.
- It processes the graphic signal with 24 bits of resolution.
- It works with composite video and S-video.
- It has a By Pass Relay so the signal is not lost during a power cut.
- It has a Preview Output.
- Graphics can be inserted on the air through a simple push button.
- The MGL2100 is multi-standard and allows operation in PAL N, PAL B, or NTSC without distinction.
